HELP US GET TO COOPERSTOWN!

Last weekend we headed to Douglas, Arizona to do a baseball fundraiser for Thiago, a kid who is battling cancer. It was a lot of fun visiting a different city to play baseball in but also to help fund money for a family that needs it. From every team participating they were able to raise $2500 for the family. 🥰

Nothing like getting in some plank work for 2-3 minutes💪🏽

Boys loved & hated this !😜

This plank work out is simple...

- Have the whole team get in a circle
- Everybody gets in the plank
- One person passes a medicine ball from under them to the next person all the way around and then back to the other side
- Once it gets back to the original person then they jump over every person until they get back to their spot and then the next person goes

This is done while everybody holds a plank...this is fun but a core killer for sure! 🤙🏽

Our 2nd Annual kickball Xmas party was a blast, we all ate good food.....parents came out to defend their title but lost a close game to the kids 10-9 ... Good times! 😃

Winter in Az means the best time to be out playing baseball ⚾ ..cold mornings but by 10 am the weather is a nice 60-70° degrees & we could be out there all day in which we did on Sat & Sun. No way better to spend a weekend!🤙🏽

BACK TO THE GRIND!💪🏽 Sunday we took a trip to Tumamoc hill, the way up is a 1.5 mile to the top... 700 foot rise in elevation from bottom to top. then half way we did some squats & planks to finish off our conditioning 🥵

Over the weekend we visited @sluggersparadise to get a sneak peek of their new baseball/softball facilities opening in the Green Valley/ Sahuarita.

Through the years of softball and baseball played in Sahuarita and surrounding towns, there has never been an indoor baseball /softball training facility to train for the next level without having to drive 30-40 minutes 😣.

That's why we're excited for the opening of Sluggers Paradise! They will have 5 cages with 1 iron Mike, 1 baseball⚾ and softball🥎 Hack Attack jr and one baseball Hack Attack pitching machines. These machines are more consistent machines that can throw all type of pitches at different speeds. This is something we are excited about as players need to see different types of pitches & not just see your usual fastballs. They will also have two bullpen areas that will have clay mounds to have the in game feel!

Follow them & check them out once they open late May / early June 😉, we're excited to have our team at a local hitting facility in southern AZ! 🙌🏽

A fun weekend at the AMDG Classic in PHX with solid competition throughout the weekend. We ended up coming back on game 1 & tying it, & winning our 2nd game. Unfortunately due to rain games got cancelled on Sunday and we ended up with 3rd place due to the seeding. Regardless our boys came through & had the most homeruns with a total of 9 for Saturday. A solid showing for sure💪
